Do I ovulate every single month?

I have a 28-30 day cycle. Sometimes my period arrives a day or two early. I do use ovulation strips and get two lines. I have been trying for over three years now and no luck getting pregnant. My hubby who is frustrated forced me to make an appointment with an RE to see what's going on. I'm as I type waiting on the bloodwork results. He ordered so many tests it was unreal LOL He also wants to do the dye in my remaining tube and do an ultrasound on my uterus.
