Question about the Book of Mormon...?

The Book of Mormon is a fairly literal translation, but ultimately the translation is in the language of the translator; if people are most familiar with Alpha and Omega, then that is how it should be translated. I think it would have lost something if it was translated as "I am the A and the Z" or "I am the A and the T". Respect was shown to King James Version by using similar language.
