Why is Salycilic Acid so good at cleaning soap s of shower curtain and tubs?

I've tried using everthing imaginable from Kaboom, to Chloring, from Baking Soda to Bam...why is Salycilic Acid the best soap s remover out there and is so safe on your skin, it's Amazing.
